I love the way you color! It seems hard to find smooth transitions into shadows and vice versa now; everyone seems to prefer the immediate switches used in anime and most of the other cartoons these days.

I like the background, too. It'd take me forever to get the floor to recede at the right angle o0

Heh, thanks for the compliment! that kind of coloring that's sharp like that is called cel shading. I only use it to some degree, or when I want that abrupt effect. Most of my shading is done by dodging, burning, painting in new tones, and other PS tricks. I missed the Anime boat by a mile growing up, so for my inspirations i studied fine art, and western animation.
